Wildhood is designed to utilize children’s engagement with technology
to drive their attention outside, where they can learn about their neighborhood through a new lens.
Children and their caretakers discover local landmarks, photograph them, and digitally transform the photographs into wild creatures. Over time, children build their own fantasy world reflecting the places they visit and the creatures they imagine, learning about their neighborhood every step of the way.

My five-year-old niece has many food allergies. She is allergic to wheat, soy, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, sesame, beans, and certain fruits. To help her avoid foods with these ingredients, I designed flash cards for each of the ingredients that she cannot eat, indicating what types of foods these “hivey” ingredients can be found in.Graphic Design, Illustration, Product Design2011 -

A wig-making kit targeted for mothers who have recently lost their hair to utilize with their children, serving as a prompt for mothers to explain to their children the changes happening to their body. The kit acts as an engaging way for children to understand and cope with the loss of their mother’s hair (a loss that is somewhat more tangible to children than the idea of cancer itself).Product Design, Graphic Design, Art Direction2011 -

A marble serves as a visual metaphor to the lyrics. In doing so, it reflects the sentiment that one is easily lost (and eventually found)
in the game of love.Animation, Typography, Video Arts2011
