Amplify builds interactive curriculums for middle school teachers and students. Working with former teachers, curriculum writers, product managers and engineers, I designed an experience that corresponded with the 7th grade English Language Arts common core curriculum.
The 7th grade ELA curriculum was constructed around 7 different literary themes, each featuring one significant novel amongst shorter stories and texts.
Within each literary theme, students could view the stories and texts they were going to read.
Each text addressed a series of literary themes.
A teacher’s guide accompanied each lesson plan, providing teachers with note-worth talking points and other prompts to discuss in class.
